Hi, welcome to ShoreToShoreTackle.com. I am Capt. Greg Buckner, owner/operator of the Charter Boat Miss Susie fishing out of Solomons MD and also the proud owner of this new on-line custom tackle company, SHORE TO SHORE TACKLE.
My idea for this custom tackle company started for two main reasons: 1) I saw huge market demand for a tackle manufacture/seller who provided top-notch, custom fishing lures and rigs to the enormous mass of sport fisherman in the Chesapeake Bay region. 2) I needed something to keep me busy during charter fishing’s off season.
Working as a Chesapeake Bay Charter Fishing first-mate for three years and as a Captain the last three years (fishing 200+ Trips per year) I know what lures work and what lures don't for catching Trophy Chesapeake Stripers. Everything sold on this web-site is what we actually use. This is it!!! This is what "we" (people whose livelihood depends upon being successful at catching fish) use!!!
We custom make all of our parachutes, starting with molding the lead jigheads, then custom painting them, gluing in the plastic eyes, and finally tying them. We also offer custom made-to-order completely rigged parachutes, double rigs and a huge variety of umbrella rigs. Our products flat out catch fish and I can, with complete confidence tell any Chesapeake Bay Striper fisherman that if they use the products offered on this web-site they will catch more and bigger fish.
